The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Teaching Hospital of Jaffna is a renowned facility dedicated to the treatment of critically ill patients. It is equipped with cutting-edge life support systems and advanced vital sign monitoring technologies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to every patient.

The ICU is overseen by a team of experts consisting of Consultant Intensivists, Consultant Anaesthetists and a Consultant Paediatric Intensivist. These specialists are supported by experienced resident medical officers who are available around the clock. Each patient receives constant attention and monitoring from highly skilled nursing staff, all of whom have undergone thorough training in managing critical conditions and operating sophisticated ICU equipment.
